BRRRRRRR!!!

Winter is definitely on its way. we would love to check out the Redwoods, some trails, and sights, but not sure how long we can tolerate the freezing temps. When we’re in the shade, or surrounded by wind, beaten feet south sounds pretty damn good 🥶

As we headed up and into Redwood territory outside Crescent City, we had one hell of a hill climb!!! It was 1,260’ at our 20 mile mark. It was so brutal that Rebecca’s eyelids sweat! Didn’t even know that was possible 🤣

We arrived at the Trees of Mystery just before closing. So, Motel Trees has our business for the night so we can check out the Trees of Mystery at 8:30am. Then, depending on weather conditions, we’ll camp at Prairie Creek Campgrounds and check out Fern Canyon/some trails OR we’re gonna head as far south as possible... 🤔
